Learn how blood alcohol concentration is measured in your body by two different tests in this video by our experienced Maryland DUI lawyer.
Question:
What is blood alcohol concentration?
Answer:
In the state of Maryland, your blood alcohol concentration is the amount of alcohol contained within your blood level as expressed in a numerical value, and that numerical value is then determined to be either illegal or at a legal level. In Maryland, there are two types of tests. One could be either a blood test or one could be a breath test. In each instance, those tests are converted to numbers, and what we’re looking to see is whether the number is greater than .08 or below .08 to determine what the level of impairment is.
