Grateful!!I needed to find legal counsel for my 18 year old son when he got charged with assault for a fight that in my opinion was provoked. I was extremely happy and satisfied with Jason Miller services. My case was a theft case in Prince George's county.Before I found Jason's firm, I was lost and worried that I will lose everything including my job and my house since there was potential jail time. I was searching for days for the best firm. Before I found Jason's firm, other firms seemed like they were just after my money and were talking down to me with an attitude as if the lawyer was irritated to answer my questions and impatient. I was already a nervous reck so that was a big red flag for me.When I found Alpert Schreyer Criminal Defense firm and spoke to Jason Miller, He was patient, answered all my questions....; and there was ALOT of questions. I was represented by Jason Miller for a DUI offense. The incident took place in Worcester County MD. I chose Jason Miller because his credentials and experience were hard to pass up. Before finding the Alpert Schreyer firm, I was charged with a DUI in Anne Arundel County. I was recently burdened with being falsely accused in a criminal court matter. I was being charged by the State with a max sentence of 5 years behind bars, which was incredibly stressful and taxing. I knew right away that I needed to get top notch representation. I checked out a few firms and had a couple interviews with different lawyers in the area, but when I spoke with one of the attorney's at Alpert Schreyer, I had a sense of confidence straight away. I could tell this was an experienced group of professionals that had my back. Jason Miller was assigned to my case which was to be held in Anne Arundel County District Court. Jason was great, very thorough in working closely with me to get all the facts straight and was an overall nice guy in general. The day of my hearing, Jason was able to present all the evidence in a clear and concise way to the State's prosecutor, proving beyond a reasonable doubt that I had committed no crime. The prosecutor promptly elected to recommend all charges against me be dropped, as after having spoken with Mr. Miller, she did not want to move forward with the prosecution. Worked with Albert Schreyer on my auto accident case. It was a pretty serious accident with lots of medicals and detailed observations. I’d like to thank Jason Miller and his entire staff for the excellent handling of my recent case before the Maryland Court System.I was falsely accused of criminal assault against a minor and had no idea where to go for help. I searched and searched and discovered many 5-star reviews for Jason and his firm, Alpert Schreyer, LLC. After a call to the main office, Jason quickly called me back, listened attentively to my case and then described in great detail all the possibilities and costs associated with the accusations. Based on his experience, personality and demeanor, I felt very comfortable and immediately retained his services. Jason wasted no time and began to work on my defense. He was very thorough and a good listener. I was upset and sometimes got frustrated and off track and he would take the time to listen and help me focus on the facts. I searched reviews for attorneys in the Frederick area. I was facing some serious charges. This law firm had some of the best reviews I could find. I called them and gave them my info. Within the hour an attorney from the firm, Jason Miller, called me back and discussed the charges I was facing. He explained everything in great detail, the possible outcomes, and pricing to be represented by him and his team. Everything was straightforward so we paid the retainer fee. On my first court appearance jason was able to get the prosecutors to reduce the amount of chargesI had and by my final court date, all I received was probation. Had to put $5000 all up front before he took my case. Then passed me off to another lawyer who was no better than a public defender. Every time I wanted to fight my case he got mad. Every time I said there is no video evidence he would say the convicted people before video evidence. Ended up with a plea deal for $5000 don’t hire these people.

Short Story:Go with them, do the work, and get a great result!Full story:On February 11th 2023, I was charged with a DUI and arrested. Once I got home I started googling around for DUI attorneys in Maryland and I was immediately drawn to Alpert Schreyer. I called them and was able to speak directly to someone on a Saturday morning. I gave a brief description of what happened and was told that I’d be contacted by an Attorney. Later that evening I had the pleasure of speaking with one of their attorneys, Christian. After our call he told me that I’d have some “homework” to do, and that everything discussed will be sent in an email. That Monday I got introduced to Sandy, Keri and Reana. They were the paralegals responsible for mitigation and discovery. They were my main POCs until the court date. Attorney Jason Miller worked extensively/diligently to fight my case.I was charged with dwi (due to wacky DRE) and dui (blew a .04). I chose this firm because i saw they were experts in handling DRE cases. And was that claim true! Mr. Miller was able to get the both charges expunged and lessened to a lesser charge, that was not a conviction- a citation. It resulted in being a minor traffic offense- like a speeding ticket. I contacted Alpert Schreyer’s firm immediately after receiving charges for a DUI. The reviews for this firm were amazing. Christian Hartman talked to me within an hour of reaching out to the firm. The next week they had my homework plan ready for me to work on. Christian is very honest and doesn’t promise a pleasant experience, but if you do the work the result will far exceed the result if you do nothing. Being a second offender and a pretty cut and dry guilty case for the prosecution; he was able to convince the judge that a probation before judgement verdict and limited jail time was a good option. This was the second time Michael Berman represented me and it was another 5/5 experience!I had several warrants in Anne Arundel county related to driving infractions and failure to appear. A day or two after contacting Mr. Berman, all the warrants were removed which took a huge weight off of my shoulders.Mr. Berman and his team scheduled a court date about 6 months out at the Anne Arundel court which gave me plenty of time to complete tasks like community service and some driving classes to present to the judge.A couple of days before my court case I tested positive for covid and couldn't fly from Florida to Maryland to attend my court hearing. Mr. Berman had all my pending charges cleared with the judge without me having to attend, and is assisting me with getting my driving record cleared up.Warrants removed, all charges cleared, didn't have to fly in for court. Can't ask for a better outcome than that.If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I was charged with three charges of assault of second degree though I did not have any trouble with law all my life before. The great uncertainty and my lack of the basic knowledge of the judicial system drove me into great fear and even despair at times. As I started to understand the grave consequences if I am convicted with the charges, I called Alpert Shreyer & Poe LLC. Despite of COVID-19, a team was quickly formed to work on my case. He is so good he got everything boiled down to 16hrs of community service and unsupervised probation. Arya Saleh is a one man team when it comes to DUI. I received a DUI on July 2019 and it was my first charge. I got arrested and showed 1.0 when they tested me. I searched online and saw the penalties from 1yr jail time all the way to 4K of fees I could face. After my research, I found Mr.Saleh. WOW! best lawyer money can get. I was facing my 4th dui in a short time frame and I searched the best lawyers in Maryland and it brought up the Alpert Schreyer firm, I sent an email to the link and received a quick response from Mr. Saleh and he set up a meeting for a few days later. There is no doubt that Mr. Saleh literally cared about me, and represented me with the same zealous spirit he would for his best friend or his own family. I turned to Mr. Saleh after having already hired an attorney that I quickly realized only had one track in mind, and what happened to me didn't seem to much matter to him. I hired Jason Miller as my criminal defense attorney in a time of real uncertainty. I was completely blindsided by a particular situation and I needed immediate legal help. A family member of mine was helping me located the most appropriate attorney for my legal battle but we were running into dead ends due to some unfortunate timing on the weekend. Jason understood our struggle and he stepped up to the plate and offered his professional legal services. I was in a jail cell scared out of my mind while facing multiple DV charges but the moment I heard Jason's voice and he explained what's going to happen, I immediately felt a strong sense of security and peace. He bailed me out on bond and we soon after started a game plan of how to combat these charges. I explained to Jason in great detail how the events in my case unfolded but how I was innocent even though the odds were seemingly stacked against me. I quickly realized that Jason and his team are very by-the-book and trust that the truth will always reign regardless of the situation so, we chose to lean into that and reasoning for our strategy. My original charges were DUI and Mr. Alpert got it dropped down to a negligent driving charge. Didn’t know what to do at first, it was very stressful but their lawyers and paralegals helped me through it and were available consistently to help. It’s expensive but I doubt you’ll find a better firm. Just do what they tell you and you’ll get the help you need.

I chose Mr. Alpert’s firm and it was probably the best decision I could’ve ever made. I came to him with a DUI case and he got me off of the case with just a fine and a slap on the wrist! Mike Berman is absolutely phenomenal and very professional. He always made a point to contact me regarding any changes in my case and made sure that i understood completely what was going on. I pleaded guilty to DUI per say and received no points on my license and my fines were reduced. Please make sure you follow the mitigation plan provided. Mr. Saleh and his team were excellent from beginning to end. Out of eight charges, all were dropped except one which he successfully obtained a PBJ and unsupervised probation for me. Couple of thousand in fees were reduced to only the $57 court fee. Highly recommend! I am very much at ease and rest now thanks to his professionalism and expertise.

Arya is hands down the best lawyer around. I’ve heard that from other people that knew him too. We went to court today for my first DUI, DWI, hit and run, etc. I had 5 total charges and an accident. 4/5 charges were dropped and I got probation before judgement for only 1 of the lesser charges! I could have served time in jail and had thousands of dollars in court fees but I only had to pay $160. Do all of the things he tells you to do before court, take it seriously and make sure your binder is thorough and neat and you will give him everything he needs to give you the best possible outcome! Do not even consider any other lawyer for a DUI. Hire Arya. I even had a tough judge and he still was able to get me best case scenario results and I couldn’t be more relieved or grateful to have him on my side today!

if you’re reading this review, stop what you’re doing and hire Arya Saleh right now! He knows exactly what he’s doing and made what seemed impossible, possible! I had 6 charges including a DUI and DWI, both of which were dropped. Out of the 6 charges and $1800 fines I only had to pay one fine of $200 and pleaded guilty to a wreck less driving charge. And listen to this: NO POINTS ON MY LICENSE. Just follow Mr. Saleh’s directions and I promise you’ll be more than satisfied with your results.

This law firm is top notch. They really care about the client and the case. I have dealt with other lawyers before who take your money and basically forget about you but these guys really put the effort in. If you are facing DUI/DWI charges in MD you need to call this firm. Make sure you do the "homework" assignments they give you and listen to their advice and you will be well prepared when appearing before the judge. I highly recommend this law firm.
